Backup Your Blog Widgets

Hello guys! I hope you enjoy this time with my tutorial. Now, i will explain how to backup your widget. Why do we require to backup your widget? Of course. If you will change your template, you require to backup your widget, so that the widget can be installed again in your new template. If you change your template without backup your widget, you will lose all the blog widgets, such as: Shoutbox, banners, menus, etc. Because it is you need to backup your template widget.

Many ways that you can do to backup your widget. First I will explain how to backup from the "Page Elements" menu.


  1. Log in with your Blogspot ID
  2. Go to Layout.
  3. You will see a display like this (just example).




  4. Click on Edit. Pop-up window will opened.
  5. . Wait a moment, then copy all code of your widget and paste to notepad for backup.
  6. do this for all of your blog widgets.
